ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Naturalist is an emo band based out of Oklahoma City. Throughout the years, I have been their art director for 2 EPs, 1 B Side, and their newest effort, "Everything in Rotation." 

"Everything in Rotation" is a story of life, love, and loss through an incredibly well written and produced record. I was so excited to work on this album and wanted the visual elements to have the same surrealistic style as the music. (Actual photos of the work coming soon.)

 The visual identity for "Friends" is a direct representation of their songs: beautiful and flowery but there's just something a little... off. For "Friends," we thought it would be fun to create an imaginary "friend" who lurked throughout the album. They enjoyed the concept so much they decided to carry the idea through to their B-Side, "I Miss Everyone I've Ever Met".
