OLD SCIENCE HALL WAYFINDING AND SIGNAGE

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The Old Science Hall is the oldest building on the University of Oklahoma's Norman Campus. In 2009, it was renovated and my partner Sarah Eskew and I thought this would be the perfect time to create some new signage for the building. The Old Science Hall houses four entirely different departments including Film and Video, Drama, Theater, and the OU Study Abroad Program and the rooms are constantly shifting around from department to department. We decided to create a color scheme that would act as wayfinding for the building. Each department was given a color and depending on the location of the department, that would become the color for the floor helping to cut down on getting lost inside the building.
